After years of traveling different parts of Asia, my partners and I wanted to venture into something more exotic. Asian cuisine. Every time I traveled to Thailand and China, I found myself more interested in eating the food from the small vendor on the street instead of in a traditional restaurant. Whether it's a street vendor in a bustling city district, or a roadside vendor out in the country, their food has one important and common ingredient. Passion.
Watching someone work hard at something they love to do always inspires me. From that inspiration comes our concept: Americana. Why this name? America is the melting pot and this applies to cuisine too. Asian food is American food. It's part of our way of life. Part of Americana.
